Buttermilk is a mixed use master planning project, intended to revitalise a derelict 16 hectare timber mill site, in Putaruru, South Waikato.
The subject site as a whole represents a significant town centre revitalisation opportunity due to its large size, a single entity ownership structure, and a geographical location at the southern end of the historical Putaruru main street.
The subject site has been broadly separated up into four use categories: retail, agricultural, trade and automobile. The intention is that there should be strong cross function symbiotic relationships, such that customer duration of stay and average spend on the subject site as a whole.
The site has a northern central and southern gateway and these are connected longitudinally with one single vehicular route.
